DETERMING CANDIDACY AND PRICING FOR SURGERY WITH DR. TANSAVATDI
Dr. Tansavatdi offers a pre-consultation process to to determine candidacy and pricing for surgeries. This process is designed to provide you with as much information before your initial consultation Dr. Tansavatdi to decrease the anxiety many of our patients feel. We value the time you have taken to research Dr. Tansavatdi and to learn about the surgeries she is specialized in performing. To start the process, you’ll first begin by providing some basic information so we can get to know what you are looking to accomplish and why. Then, you’ll be asked to submit clear photographs taken from your phone capturing three specific angles of your face. Last, our surgical coordinator will contact you with a pre-consultation estimate which serves as the starting point for your discussion with Dr. Tansavatdi at your consultation. Keep in mind that estimates may change in person if Dr. Tansavatdi finds on your examination in person that a higher level of surgical plan is required to accomplish your goals. DEEP PLANE FACELIFT
Dr. Tansavatdi's deep plane facelift operates beneath the face's supportive layer, offering more effective, longer-lasting results. This technique repositions tissues without pulling skin taut, ensuring patients look natural and not "overdone." Benefits include fewer revisions, natural looking outcomes, reduced scarring, more youthful jawline, and improved cheek and midface contour. The most common combined procedure Dr. Tansavatdi performs with a deep plane facelift is CO2 laser resurfacing which smoothes out any residual wrinkles around the eyes, and mouth that cannot be fully addressed with a deep plane facelift. Occasionally, Dr. Tansavatdi will also recommend combining the procedure with a temporal brow lift and/or autologous fat grafting if there is excessive loss of volume or excess skin that cannot be adequately addressed with facelift surgery alone.
DEEP NECK LIFT
Dr. Tansavatdi's deep neck lift sculpts the neck and is intended for those who have early heaviness in the neck without any aging changes in the lower face. The jawline is addressed when combined with a deep plane facelift. The procedure sculpts the deep compartments of muscle, fat and glands in the neck in order to contour the neck. Results typically last 10-15 years, with post-surgery recovery allowing sedentary work within two weeks and exercise in a month. Ideal candidates are healthy, non-smokers with a heavier neck contour.
TEMPORAL BROW LIFT
Dr. Tansavatdi performs a temporal brow lift on about 50% of patients requesting facelift surgery. This is determined at the consultation by testing if there is enough excess skin pulled in the cheeks that results in bunching of skin at the temples. In addition, if you have heavy brows and the upper eyelid skin hoods over or you want your eyes to appear brighter and more open, then you may be a candidate for a temporal brow lift. The incision is usually hidden in the hairline. Ideal candidates have good skin elasticity and thickness, and good volume in the temples.
ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT
Dr. Tansavatdi performs an endoscopic brow lift when the brows are heavy and contributing to heaviness of the upper eyelids. In addition, if you have heavy brows and the upper eyelid skin hoods over or you want your eyes to appear brighter and more open, then you may be a candidate for an endoscopic brow lift. The incisions are usually hidden in the hairline. Consultations determine candidacy, assessing forehead and hairline anatomy, medical history, and individual concerns. Ideal candidates have suitable movement of the forehead, heavy brows, good health, and realistic expectations.
UPPER AND LOWER EYELID SURGERY
Dr. Tansavatdi can perform upper and lower eyelid surgery alone or in combination with a deep plane facelift. Upper and lower eyelid surgery can take care of excess sagging skin, and lower eyelid bags. Consultations determine candidacy, assessing facial and eye anatomy, medical history, and individual concerns.
FACIAL FAT TRANSFER
Dr. Tansavatdi offers facial fat transfer when there is inadequate volume in the face that leads to hollowing in the temples, around the eyes, and in the cheeks. The procedure is most commonly combined with a deep plane facelift or lower eyelid surgery. The fat is usually taken from the belly area and transferred to the face. Since the fat that is transferred is your own fat, the results often look subtle and natural. Consultations determine candidacy, assessing your facial anatomy, medical history, and individual concerns.
RHINOPLASTY
Dr. Tansavatdi offers rhinoplasty utilizing either an open technique with small external incisions or a closed approach with internal incisions. The chosen technique depends on the patient's needs. Ideal candidates have suitable nasal skin thickness, strong cartilage, good health, and realistic expectations.
REVISION RHINOPLASTY
Dr. Tansavatdi offers revision rhinoplasty through an open technique only. Consultations determine candidacy and pricing after allowing for Dr. Tansavatdi to assess your nasal anatomy, medical history, and individual concerns. Ideal candidates have suitable nasal skin, strong remaining cartilage, minimal scarring, good health, and realistic expectations.
