Dr. T's Favorite Surgery

Hello, Dr. Tansavatdi here. I often get patients who are interested in knowing what my favorite surgery is so I’m going to share a little bit about myself today. I do a lot surgeries on the face, and there’s a variety of surgeries I do. The surgery I enjoy doing the most is rhinoplasty, and the reason why is because rhinoplasties are very challenging.

I don’t know what it is, but I love rising to challenges, and especially rhinoplasty surgery because the nose is in the center of your face. If you get this done poorly, everybody is going to see it. The tiniest moves or changes I do, even though it may take me a half hour to do it can make a huge difference in a patient’s face so I really enjoy that aspect of rhinoplasty surgery.

It’s also something that you hone with many years of practice. Even today, rhinoplasty for me is still challenging even though I do a lot of it. I still find it fun and rewarding to do because every case is different, and I’m constantly trying to improve. To me, that is truly what an artist does. Thank you again for tuning in.
